Delta State welcomes new students with 2026 OKRAtation activities
CLEVELAND, Miss. - Delta State University will welcome new and returning students to campus with 2026 OKRAtation, a series of activities designed to help students connect with the campus and Cleveland communities as the fall semester begins.
OKRAtation will begin with Move-In Day on Saturday, Aug. 15, and continue through Thursday, Aug. 20. The week will include opportunities for students to meet classmates, explore campus resources and learn how to become involved at Delta State.
Student organizations, university departments, businesses and community organizations are invited to reserve tables for the Statesmen Engagement Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, on the Quad. The event will introduce students to leadership, service and involvement opportunities available on campus and throughout the community. Tables will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
The community is also invited to participate in Engage 4 Student Success from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, outside the Roberts-LaForge Library and Student Success Center. The event will feature food trucks, live music from a DJ and Delta Music Institute performers, a bouncy house, games, raffles, giveaways and interactive booths.
Businesses and community organizations may register to host tables during Engage 4 Student Success, providing an opportunity to meet students, introduce them to local services and help welcome Delta State's newest Statesmen to Cleveland.
