DSU Alumni and Foundation Staff Attend 2026 CAMMP Annual Conference
Cleveland, MS (10/01/2026) — Delta State University alumni and foundation staff members recently attended the 2026 Council for Advancement of Marketing and Membership Professionals (CAMMP) Annual Conference, held July 21-23 at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Representing Delta State were Corley Mullins, director of Alumni Affairs, and Amanda Robinson, alumni and foundation communications and marketing specialist. The three-day conference brought together alumni relations, communications, marketing and membership professionals from colleges and universities across the country to share innovative ideas, best practices and emerging trends in alumni engagement and advancement.
Throughout the conference, Mullins and Robinson participated in educational sessions focused on strategic communications, alumni engagement, digital marketing, storytelling, membership development and innovative programming designed to strengthen relationships between universities and their alumni communities. The event also provided opportunities to network with peers and industry leaders from institutions nationwide.
"Attending the CAMMP conference provides an excellent opportunity to learn from some of the nation's leading alumni relations and marketing professionals," Mullins said. "The ideas and strategies we gained will help us continue enhancing the alumni experience at Delta State and strengthen our connections with Statesmen across the country."
Robinson added, "CAMMP reinforced the importance of authentic storytelling and strategic communications in building meaningful relationships with our alumni and supporters. We're excited to bring back new ideas that will help us strengthen alumni engagement and share the impact of Delta State."
In addition to attending educational sessions and networking with fellow professionals, Mullins contributed to the conference's planning efforts as a member of the CAMMP Programming Committee.
The annual CAMMP conference provides professional development opportunities for alumni marketing and membership professionals, offering practical strategies, collaborative learning opportunities and resources that support institutional advancement. The 2026 conference was hosted by the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
