Delta State's Kelvin Davis honored with 2024 NACUBO Rising Star Award
CLEVELAND, Miss. - Delta State University is proud to announce that Kelvin Davis, Associate Vice President of Finance and Administration and Interim Human Resources Director, has been awarded the prestigious 2024 Rising Star Award by the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO). This award recognizes Davis's exceptional leadership and potential as an emerging executive in higher education finance and business.
Davis has played a pivotal role in managing a broad range of financial operations at Delta State University, including general accounting, grant accounting, accounts payable, procurement, financial reporting, treasury, bursar, payroll, budgeting, and the university's contracted auxiliaries. As a 2023-24 participant in the NACUBO Fellows Program and an active member of the Southern Association of College and University Business Officers (SACUBO), he has demonstrated a commitment to professional growth and leadership in higher education finance.
